I have so much to say in this update, but not enough time. The internet has been down at our house in Kitale so I have not been able to update throughout the week. There have been so many highlights for me:
-Meeting and beginning projects with the Shimo Girls
-Living in community with the gang at TI (Transformed International)
-Going through the books of Exodus and John with Stephanie each day
-Spending time with the NEEMA Girls each week
-Sunshine in February (although i am missing all the snow back home)
-Playing with kids at Hope Bright Future Children's Home every saturday
Life is just much more simple, in many ways, when I am here. I hope to bring even more of that simplicity back with me in March. Everyday is an adventure here, especially if we leave the peace and quiet of the compound.
I will be sure to share more specific stories and attempt to post photos as soon as we have internet back.
