Some of you have asked me where I have been staying and what it looks like and do we have running water or electricity, so I thought I would show you some photos of where I stay. I have been staying in an area of Kitale called Milimani. It is a nice part of town (with the exception of the roads). We have a gate and a night guard, and I have never felt unsafe here. There is a main house where everyone living here shares a kitchen and living room/dining room area. Stephanie and I have been staying out in the "girls house" which is a room that is attached to a garage. We have 3 bunk beds in our room and there is a bathroom here. Since it is just the two of us girls, we have had lots of space. We have running water, electricity and even the internet.....when everything is working and the power isn't out. It has been a great set up.
The property here, is beautiful and peaceful. There are 6 people who live here permanently (Daniel from Reno....well actual he is from Kenya, it's home for him....Sean and Meredith from Canada, and Derrick, Mark, and James.....3 Kenyan guys that work fro TI). The number of people here has varied over the past few weeks, but it has been a lot of fun. We make meals together every night and have morning devotions 3 times a week. We just live life together, which is something I will miss when I go back home.
Below are some photos of my home in Kenya:

This makes me miss Kenya so much more!
