1) An etsy site for me to sell some of my own creations. Currently it is all hair accessories using african fabrics I have collected, some of my favorite linen fabrics, vintage fabrics and buttons that my mom is gathering for me (to make one of a kind creations). Other items will be added over time as I experiment but we will start with simple projects. The funds from this personal site will help me fund the work. You can find things for gals of all ages as time goes on. I hope you will consider checking it out sometime: http://www.etsy.com/people/faithwise.
2) A new project called Mosaic Designs, which is outlet for training, purchasing, and selling items created locally and internationally. I am prepping a group who will travel to Kenya in June to do some training with the girls from the NEEMA and SHIMO Projects at Transformed International. I am excited to come back with some of their latest creations and begin bringing more of their pieces into your lives.
We are always looking or locations to share the stories and sell some of their products. We are hoping to get into as many colleges as we can, as well as craft shows, or visiting youth, college, and women's retreats. House parties, or women's small groups are other options. A team will be approaching businesses about selling items in their shops and we will also set up ways to buy online. There are so many ways to get involved.
For years, people have approached me about providing ways to buy the products the girls are making in order to support them. We hope to provide you with more opportunities over time. We will continue to share the stories of the lives being changed.
Thanks for your interest in what is happening here and around the world!
